Sept. 18, 2026 — The filter on this desk does not change because the calendar gets busy. A snack launch counts when the pack fits a four-foot impulse set, the price sits on the ladder the store already uses, and the route can deliver a single. A cooler item counts when it earns a door, not when it earns a slide.
Private label counts when the banner can own a simple spec — water, a chip, a bun — without borrowing a grocery commissary. Foodservice counts when it shares the labor already on the floor. A program that needs a person the schedule does not have is a different store.
Exhibitor copy stays labeled as press. A photo of a shipper is not a turn rate. If the item is not on a facing a buyer can check next week, it is not a file yet.
